AAD · Black hair: tips for everyday care ↗
General Black-hair guidance, not a toddler-specific trial or a universal schedule.
https://www.aad.org/public/everyday-care/hair-scalp-care/hair/care-african-americanThis is an editorial website release candidate—not a completed medical review or a systematic review. Main instructions stay simple; their source roles and uncertainties belong here.
It consolidates the uploaded material into a working website, with selected independent checks for care principles, workout advice, products, and safety. Earlier drafts and the completed research report are source material to audit, not authorities. Their unsupported age thresholds, automatic product stacks, and zero-damage promises were not copied.
| Material | Access | Treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Wash Day Blueprint, Type 4 edge guide, toddler hair care & satin guide, dryer shopping guide | 4 PDFs supplied October 31, 2026 | Methods and gear integrated into the wash station, edges, natural and tools pages. Overstated filter science, unverified prices and store locations, and a toddler heat plan were corrected or left out; dryer settings follow the maker. Earlier version of the satin guide replaced. |
| haircare-system.html | Complete source, including product links and references | Visual identity and useful ideas preserved. A link inventory is not proof every historical product claim was verified. |
| index.html | Uploaded haircare hub source | Interactive routine concepts and accessibility ideas considered; not evidence of current deployment. |
| The Dad System Haircare Quick Guide | 2-page PDF | Gentle sequence and comfort signal incorporated. |
| Growing Coils Complete Guide | 24-page PDF | Main practical-care foundation, treated as an editorial draft. |
| Haircare Review and Guide | 11-page PDF | Corrections cross-checked selectively, not accepted as a finished clinical review. |
| 4C curl styling system | 4-page PDF | Styler candidates and handling ideas retained; DIY preservation and performance guarantees excluded. |
| Haircare Guide: Audit & Revisions | Completed Library research report | Read in full. Conflicting toddler chemical, satin, protein, and heat claims require correction. |
| Current public website | Homepage and /haircare/ landing retrieved | No claim that every linked guide, historical download, or video was crawled. |
| Netlify.zip · directly uploaded full-site archive | Raw files extracted and integrated locally on October 26, 2026 | Only Netlify/haircare/ is changed. Other site files are preserved byte-for-byte. Remote repository creation and publishing are not claimed. |
MoKnowsHair: this guide follows her approach. Her full written length-retention regimen (August 2024), heat-damage tips and January 2016 steam article were read on October 27, 2026. Her linked videos were not watched end to end. Her adult routine and product line are adapted for kids, not copied: shorter sessions, no edge styling, no toddler heat.
Miche Beauty: this guide also follows her approach. The Miche Manual articles on Type 4 wash-and-gos, why wash-and-gos fail, length retention and protecting kids’ curls in summer were read on October 27, 2026, along with the SCULPT product directions. They are brand content, and her product recommendations are not presented as tested on this family.
Black Curl Magic / Black Girl Curls and Naptural85: they remain useful educator leads from the supplied collection. No paid course or newly verified full tutorial from either is represented as reviewed in this release. Specific lessons should be reviewed before they are added as instructional embeds.
Different routines can reasonably prioritize definition, speed, stretch, or simple maintenance. There is no requirement to adopt an educator’s entire product system. A result on an adult’s head does not establish a child’s ideal settings or tolerance.
The exact RevAir device-only versus bundle checkout contents, current prices/returns, and equivalent Dyson package terms still need a purchase-date comparison. This build links to the makers and intentionally does not repeat stale amounts as current facts.
The water-earplug shortlist needs a current exact label check, including age/fit, whole-plug application, disposal, and supervision instructions. A hearing earmuff is not an alternative water plug.
Product tolerance, unexplained scalp symptoms, fragile hair, and chemical compatibility need individual professional input. No product card constitutes clinician approval for any child.
The remaining historical affiliate links, cultural origin claims, and all videos have not undergone a complete claim-by-claim verification. They are not silently migrated into the recommendations.
The steaming addition reviews MoKnowsHair’s written 2016 demonstration and manufacturer safety information. A comparative toddler steam protocol was not established. Conflicting PATTERN instructions require manufacturer clarification before device use.
The source-file integration is complete locally and restricted to haircare/. Remote GitHub creation and Netlify preview/production deployment remain separate, unverified steps. Unrelated forms, shared search and the ask function are retained, not end-to-end tested against external services.
One source file generates all routines and product cards. Monthly, seasonal, and annual checks are practical organization choices, not clinically established treatment intervals. A user’s preferred style does not override symptoms or product directions.
Product metadata stays separate from evergreen instructions. Price/stock snapshots are dated; new links in this build are non-affiliate. Family-tested claims are not used because this review did not test the products on the family.
These haircare pages use static local search, Google-hosted fonts, the site’s Google Analytics 4 property (IP anonymized; counts page views, PDF downloads, starter and decision-map use) and the site’s MailerLite newsletter form. The homepage video is an Instagram embed, which loads from Instagram when you scroll to it. There is no account or payment. The “Ask about hair” assistant sends your question to Anthropic’s Claude to write an answer from this guide; questions aren’t stored by us. Checklist ticks are never saved; analytics records only which age band, hair path or map result was chosen, with nothing that identifies a family. Artwork on these pages is original generative illustration made in code, not photographs or how-to demonstrations.
A source date is shown only when confirmed. “Date not displayed” is not a publication date inferred from a website footer.
General Black-hair guidance, not a toddler-specific trial or a universal schedule.

https://www.aad.org/public/everyday-care/hair-scalp-care/hair/curly-hair-careChild-focused gentle handling and swimming guidance; not a trial of this family routine.
https://www.aad.org/public/everyday-care/hair-scalp-care/hair/hair-care-habitsExplicitly written for ages 8–12. Its heavy-sweat advice must not be presented as a tested toddler schedule.

https://usa.banzworld.com/Written article reviewed. The linked full video could not be retrieved for independent viewing. Its superiority, split-end and length-retention claims are not accepted as clinical proof; current device directions were not verified.
https://moknowshairblog.com/hairtherapysteamer/Written product directions describe conditioning and curl-refresh uses, including hovering over locs. These are device/brand claims, not pediatric evidence or a recommendation to buy this tool. Follow the exact manual; online timing instructions differ across pages.
https://patternbeauty.com/products/hair-steamerWritten FAQ reviewed. It contains conflicting duration, outlet-temperature and scalp-use statements. The explicit burn warning says not to place vapor outlets on skin/scalp. No numerical temperature, distance or treatment duration is generalized here; obtain the current manual and clarify discrepancies with the manufacturer.
